I’m passionate about reading, writing, and pretty much everything connected to either of them, directly or indirectly.

Writing is what led me to where I am today. It started the journey and remained its fuel through every stage. I started with writing, and it has always been the compass I somehow find in front of me whenever I lose sight of it. It has been my companion for putting my thoughts back in order and keeping both my human and professional sides active.

I started out writing poetry, personal reflections, and opinion pieces, eventually writing a novel and short stories. Along the way, I launched several blogs and took part in various projects and initiatives where writing was my role.

Despite my academic and professional background in engineering, I spent years following the current of that field, waiting for the moment when I would encounter a different path where I could put my passion to use and find genuine enjoyment. That encounter came through marketing.

I may not have found engineering particularly enjoyable, but I credit it with helping me develop skills and qualities that I would not have succeeded without in my new career path: time management, project management, contingency planning, problem-solving, crisis management, and a strong commitment to accuracy, organization, and quality.

Where has writing taken me professionally?

Today, that journey has led me to managing digital marketing teams and overseeing content in its many forms. I find the same enjoyment I discovered through writing, but now in a broader space that brings together planning, analysis, and crafting messages that reach people at the right time and in the right way.

I don’t treat details as mere details. To me, a word, a punctuation mark, the order of a workflow, and the review of a final deliverable are all part of the same thing: quality.

In marketing, I believe the value an organization or individual offers its audience is the most important thing they have to offer. Without it, an audience will not become a genuine supporter or engaged follower, and sustainable growth and the expected returns will remain out of reach.

I’m also a son, a husband, and a father. I believe that what gives a person balance is not professional success alone, but having a life outside work that is worth living. That’s why I make time for family, value quiet moments, enjoy reading and writing, and don’t mind taking a calculated risk when something is worth trying.
